Le Bar Penelope
Penelope evokes the feeling of stepping back into an opulent, worldly menagerie that combines custom furnishings, handblown glass light fixtures, and one-of -a-kind murals dreamed up by LLS's talented design team. The lounge embodies luxury and elegance from a by-gone era, providing a captivating escape from the typical offerings of the Upper East Side.
The design team referenced the opulence of the gilded age theaters, the novel “Vanity Fair” by William Thackery (most especially the fairs that Victorian revelers would visit to experience novelties such as exotic animals and entertainers from around the world), and the well-known member’s clubs of London.
