Coral Gables Abode
This 1952 abode has been transformed into a soulful retreat. At just 1,700 square feet, the three-bedroom, two-bath house is modest in scale, but every corner reflects a couple building not just a home, but a life—and a style—together.
Color became the soul of the project—but in layered, muted tones rather than bold statements. Inspired by the palms, sky, and water outside their windows, the couple leaned into “quiet color”: sage greens, hushed blues, and earthy neutrals.
Wrapped in Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy, the room feels immersive and moody, its custom walnut counters finished with Plank hardware. Restored cork flooring lends both warmth and acoustic depth. Layered details infuse the room with both personality and patina, making it as much a sanctuary as a stage.
